Cinnabar is a substance of "Pure Yang," red as blood, possessing the power to ward off evil. The brush, ink, paper, and inkstone must all be consecrated with mantras before use to imbue them with spiritual power.

The Power of Hand Seals When inscribing a Talisman, the High Priest forms various "Hand Seals" (Mudras) with their fingers, such as the Celestial Master Seal, the Thunder Seal, and the Sword Seal. Each seal acts as a specific information channel used to summon deities or mobilize energy.

The Infusion of True Qi Upon setting the brush to paper, the "True Qi" cultivated internally is focused into the brush tip. One stroke, one mantra; executed in one continuous flow of breath. 且書符的材料需具靈性，黃紙、黃布象徵土地，承載萬物；朱砂為純陽之物，色赤如血，有辟邪之能；筆、墨、紙、硯，在書符前都需經過咒語加持，使其具備靈力。

法師在書符時，手指會結各種“手訣”，如“天師訣”、“雷霆訣”、“劍訣”等。每一個手訣都是一個特定的資訊通道，用以召請神明或調動能量。

下筆時，以內煉之“真氣”貫注筆端，一筆一咒，一氣呵成，“一點靈光”通過筆尖與符紙融合，引動神靈之力注入符中，由此而生成效力。
